Today’s topic is about the shelf life of makeup products with Avon Brochure February 2020! The mascara or lipstick you use also has a shelf life. If you do not want to endanger your health while getting better, review the products in your makeup bag from time to time! Did you know that make-up materials spoil like the foods we eat? The mascara or lipstick you use also has a shelf life. While there is no date on the packaging of products produced in Canada and America, the products sold in Europe have the Period After Opening or Life After Opening (PAO) symbol.
How you use them is as important as the life of the makeup products. Proper use will extend the shelf life of your products for several months. For this; Always wash your hands before each use, do not share your make-up materials with anyone, do not add water into the product and keep the products away from a humid environment, direct heat and sunlight.
Expired eye makeup products can pose a threat to your health. You should be especially careful about water-based mascaras. Since water-based mascaras carry a bacterial risk, it can cause redness, pain, watering or acne when you use a damaged product! If you are unsure about the expiration date of your make-up products, here are a few signs to show you if the product is defective:
Is there any change in the smell of the product?
Was it exposed to heat for a long time?
Is there a noticeable change in color or texture?
Has molding started?
How long does which product last?
